NABARD was established under the NABARD Act 1981 passed by the Parliament of India.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>NABARD is fully owned by the DFS (Department of Financial Services) under the Ministry of Finance.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>NABARD was established on the recommendations of the B. Sivaraman Committee which constituted on 30 March 1979.
